Every year my family spends Memorial Weekend at the cabin. We all bunk up in the small 900sqft. space and play games, eat food and make memories. We never know what the weather is going to bring. We always hope for sunshine because it is definitely an outdoors kind of place. This year we got rain. Lots and lots of rain. We got a little break on Saturday to play a nice game of wiffle ball and have campfire. Two of the annual events done every year. Friday and Sunday it rained all day, leaving mud everywhere. We had a difficult time getting in and out on the driveway because it was about 8inches of mud. Despite the rain and flu bug...we still had a great weekend. I guess when family is around it's hard not too. The kids had a blast. T was in heaven with all the places to run and get dirty and all of the cousins to chase around. T is still the smallest...not counting G. But he wants to play like all the big kids. So he just follows them around and tries to fit in. It is so adorable.
All the kiddos hiking through the woods with my brother.
A much needed bath in the sink after a day in the rain and mud.
G spend most of her time indoors cozy on the sofa. We tried to keep her warm and comfy as much as possible, but had a hard time taking naps with all the kids running around. She is such a trooper.
