Birthdays, Snoozes, and Disney on Ice

D had a birthday shout hooray!
We celebrated with our traditional cinnamon rolls in the the morning with
birthday presents.
Then after work we got to go out for dinner at the Space Needle.
While my kids stayed with one for their favorite cousin's MC.
The food at the Space Needle was horrible, but the scenery and company was amazing.

It sounds so old 34....crazy huh?
Happy Birthday Love!

We actually did cake on Friday.  With it being a late date night on his real birthday.
But unfortunately the kids did not get to partake due to some bad decisions they were making
and had to have a early bed time.  This was the scene when we broke the news.
Crying all around.
Little C just was crying just for moral support I think...she may have scored a couple of bites from D.
Hard lesson to learn...but someone's got to be the bad guy sometimes.

At a playdate with a friend who has a new baby boy.
C got to check out the Mamaroo that she use to  love just a few shorts month ago.
I thought it would be fun to put her in and she what she did.
Ummm....yeah i think she remembered the good old days.
It took her all of 5 minutes to get comfy and take a little snooze.
(She may have been a little over tired)
Soo funny though!

Husky game with my Dad was great!
My love for the Huskies and for football was definitely pass down from this guy.
So needless to say it was fun to spend a night at Husky stadium with my old man!
They won too!

G's favorite place these days is the library.
She loves to read books.
She loves to go to story time.
She love to pick out a new movie each week.
She asks to go there just about every day.

Little C in her owl hat, made by Auntie Lesha.
This is in prep for her big birthday coming up....it is going to be a hoot!
Guess whooo's turning 1

Big event of the week was Disney on Ice.
The kids were excited.

It was all princesses so G was in heaven.
She loved every minute.

Little C got to stay home with Grandma.
And by the end of night T kinda was wishing he would have to.
He said, "there is not enough boy stuff". Which was true.
It was a learning experience for everyone.
As parents I guess we have to accept we may not please everyone.
And for T, he has two sisters he will have to do lots of girls stuff in his life.
He is going to have to learn to enjoy it.
He will get plenty of boys stuff too.
