Post Seattle Depression

Despite how happy Tanner looks he too is suffering from what we like to call PSD. We aren't referring to a Photoshop document here. It has been two weeks since we left the great state of Washington and the city we love Seattle. Our hopes were high feeling refreshed as we caught up with friends and spent quality time with our families. Little did we know that a severe case of PSD was on the horizon. It hit almost the day we arrived home or should I say the day we arrived to a cold dark (we think green and turned off all the lights, actually we unplugged a lot of things too) apartment. Gone was the scent of warm bread just coming out of the oven, gone was the sound of children laughing, gone. It was all gone. (OK maybe that is a little dramatic. There might never have been the scent of warm bread on our trip, but you get the point)

Life back here in the Commonwealth of Kentucky has been fine. Despite the fact that we were jet legged for almost a week not getting up until well past 11am. We have managed to scrap life back together. Tanner had the hardest transition as we tried to ween him off his sweet tasting pacifier.

We are now sleeping through the night which is probably helpful when you are depressed. At times like these we have to look to the flag and know "United we stand, divided we fall" miss everyone and look forward to the day we don't have to leave Seattle ever.

Big ups to Walmart and their five dollar photos. I love living in a free market economy!!

Cute pic, he looks so grown up. He could almost pass for a toddler now.
