Top 11 of 2011

Koons Top 11 events of 2011...in no particular order.

#1 Our little girl started the year off with her first birthday! We celebrated cupcake style and it was ohh so yummy!

#2 D took his annual ski trip with his dad and brothers.  This year they went to Gran Targhee Wy,  It turned out to be one epic ski day! That is him waist deep in powder.

#3 Girls weekend in Arizona.  G, my mom and I went to visit my Grandma in Scottsdale for four days in April.  It was a fun trip and quality time with my Grandma.  Shortly after my trip my Grandma was diagnosed with breast cancer and gave the family a scare.  So glad we had this time together...thankfully she is doing better now.

#4 Dream Car!  In August we bought this baby! Never thought I would have my dream car at 28, but I love it. Sure beats driving the old Saturn around. I think this one will last us a good long time with many family trips in the future.

#5  T turned 3!  We had a great Cars party with all his friends and family.  He is still obsessed with Cars and the race track he got that day!

#6 G taking her first steps. It took G a while to get the hang of it. May 22 she took her first steps and didn't really start walking as her main way of getting around until August. I was really worried for a while there that she was never going to walk.  T walked at 10 months, G walked at 18 I never would have guessed that would happen.  Now she is quick and gets around just like any other kid her age.

#7 Koons Family Vacation in Crescent Bar.  Despite G being sick just about the whole trip, it is always good to get away. One week of sun and fun is great for the soul.

#8 Moving to our home Lake Forest Park!  We absolutely love it here. I love the house, love being close to family and close to so much fun stuff in the north end.  One big down fall is D's commute to work...but we are hoping that won't be for long once he lands some new job.

#9 D starting school at UW.  He is fulfilling two big dreams at once, getting his MBA and getting to be a Husky.  After one quarter down things are going just great. We know the Lord has a big hand in this one. He has made this happen for D and we have been blessed so far by making this decision.

#10 D and I got to celebrate 5 glorious years together!  We spend a weekend away together at our honeymoon spot in Cannon Beach.  It was a much needed break and hope to do that again with upcoming anniversaries.

#11 Watching these to rug rats grow up!  They are constantly changing and learning and becoming little people.  They are amazing, fun, cute and we just love them to pieces.

Happy New Year everyone!
2011 was really good to us and we are anxious to see what 2012 has in store.
