15 months and growing

It's hard to believe it's been 15 months since this little girl entered our world.  It seems so long ago but at the same time like it was yesterday (if that makes any sense).  She is up to a lot these days and full of personality.  Once these kids get mobile and notice the world around them that personality comes out full force.  She had her check up yesterday, which was originally scheduled for the 19th but Mommy got her day mixed up and missed the appointment (oh well I guess everyone mom does that once in a while right?). The doctor was very pleased that she is getting bigger, so big she actually made it on to the growth chart.  She weighed in at 18lbs 6oz (3% yay!) 28 1/4 inches (3% again yay!) and her head size 17 1/2 inch (50% which has been steady she has always had a big noggin).  If you measure her at her adjusted age it gets even better the 7%!  She is still a small one but she is catching up...slowly!
She is also starting to communicate with us now.  She has a small list of words, her favorite word to say is hot.  She is also good at hi, dog, "ut-ho" (she says a ut-oh and then a phrase after that which I haven't figured out kinda sounds like dropped it), Daddy, and up.  Most of the time she is just doing sounds and other cute noises.  But you can tell she is trying.
She loves to play with her brother.  He makes her laugh.  She is always interested in what ever he is doing...whether trains tracks, blocks or puzzles she is always destroying what ever he is building.  Her favorite thing to do is find things she can put things in, like her pacifier in a cup or toys in a basket. She will sit there and just take the pacifier in and out of that cup. T just got a piggy bank and she loves putting those coins in it.  Its really cute to watch.
She continues to be the happiest and easiest baby I have ever seen. She is always full of smiles for anyone and everyone.  She just goes with the flow, even if her schedule it mixed up.  She has been such a blessing for this family.  The best second child anyone could ever want.  Happy 15 Months Gracie-Bell!

Evan used to say "Ut-oh, dropped it" all of the time! She is getting so big. I can't wait to see you all on Easter!
