We took our first family vacation to Seaside Oregon this past week. We were able to spend three glorious days there. I grew up going to Seaside for vacation, so I was super excited to share it with my family. We walked along the beach which was cold and windy. We couldn't spend too much time by the water G did not like the wind. G was such a trooper. She slept through most of the trip as she was hauled from place to place. She is just a perfect little angel.
We stayed at the beautiful Seaside Resort, which you see here in the picture. D's parents have a timeshare there and they were so kind in sharing their points with us. Grandma also came with us. It was nice to have a babysitter on hand. D and I were able to have a nice dinner together. We ate at the same restaurant we ate at four years ago on our honeymoon. We honeymooned in Cannon Beach, which is ten miles away from Seaside.
We also walked along the board walk and took a ride a the Carousel . T spotted this awesome Thomas the Train set that he had to play with.
It was a fun three days. We hope to go back soon. Maybe we can make Seaside an annual vacation spot for our family...we'll see.
