Happy 8 Months!

Our baby is growing up. He is getting around so well now. It's fun to watch him! He is so interested in his surroundings. He follows us around the house wanting to play. We are enjoying it (minus some whining that isn't enjoyable). We had to lower his crib mattress this past week because he is starting to climb. He is getting better at pulling himself up, and in the process has taken some falls.

T has learned all about food. He is exploring all types of foods now. He usually wants to eat what ever Mom and Dad are eating. I just don't think we are ready for him to start picking out his own food yet. I wonder how many more times T is going to be in this same position looking for something to chow on. Look how cute our little man is standing up on his own. So amazing!

T has a voice and loves to hear it. He thinks he is having a conversation with us and it is so cute. He is always making noises. We caught this conversation on walk we took, one of his favorite things to do. This is my favorite sound in the whole world.

I know we've said it before....but we are continually amazed watching him grow. And we are so glad we get to catch some of these great moments on camera.

T is mobile

T has finally done it, after weeks of frustration and many close attempts, he can crawl. It was neat to see how he progressed and learned a little more everyday. It first started with him getting on his hands and knees. Then he started pushing off with his feet. The last step was figuring out how to move his arms while on his knees. He finally figured it out and we couldn't be prouder. It was hard to get it on video, because every time he saw the camera he would freeze. This was day one of crawling, he was still kinda of scooting, but he was happy to be able to move around.

By day three he was up on his hands and feet and moving right along.

The days we live for...

We took a family vacation to Florida this past week with D's parent's. It happened to be M's birthday week also! We had a blast. We got to hang out by the pool, see some of Florida's best attractions and spend all week together. T had the most fun out of all of us. He loved being strolled around and checking everything out. He was a trooper. It was great to have T spend quality time with his Grandparents. With Grandma and Grandpa around it made it easy for us to sneak away. We went out for dinner by ourselves on M's birthday for the first time in seven months. T will never remember this trip, so we tried to capture the best parts on camera.
