The perfect day...well almost

I woke up yesterday to my little son's footsteps running down the hall to Daddy making breakfast in the kitchen. A special breakfast of cinnamon rolls, bacon, eggs and strawberries.  My baby girl was still sleeping next to me.  The sun was shining threw the blinds and it was Mother's day.  We enjoyed a beautiful day together as a family.  We relaxed in bed, we ate a great food, we went to church and we hung out with Grandma's, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.  I only had to change two diapers.  D was on top of everything, from doing dished, getting the kids dressed, cooking and everything else.  That is what I call a mother's day full of love, laughter and relaxation for Mom and work for Dad.  I couldn't be more lucky to have a husband that made my day so special and two beautiful children that I love so much.  The only thing that made it not so perfect was the crying fit from T while trying to get him to go to nursery and the crying fit from G at my parents house.  I guess they didn't know it was Mother's day and there is no crying allowed.

Blessed Day

We also had G's blessing yesterday.  It was a busy weekend trying to get ready for everyone that was coming over after for lunch.  We were so happy everyone could come and support our family and baby G.  We had little over 30 people there.  It was busy and loud at our house, but we enjoyed the love of family.  I forgot to take pictures of G in her out fit.  I was only able to take this quick shot of our exhausted little girl at the end of the day right before PJs and bedtime.  We are blessed to have this little girl in our life and to have all our family and friends around to help love her and watch her grow!

All smiles

We had pictures taken of the kids a couple of weeks ago.  One of D's friend's wife is a talented photographer so she came over and spent a Saturday morning with us and got some great shots of the kids.  We will be doing a family photo shoot later. I wasn't prepared for it and I want to wait until G is at least able to hold her head up.  So here are our little kiddos....
